'Paisajes Para Torcer al Reloj' is a collection of six collaborative improvisations between keyboardist and dj Lorena Alvarez. Both Alvarez and Palacios have carved eclectic bodies of work - the former as part of minimalist dance trios Cuerpo Docente and Los Barbara Blade, the latter via psychedelic lounge-dub suites for Nonlocal Research. Yet 'Paisajes...' finds their common ground in more hushed, hidden terrain: lulling, electro-acoustic landscapes of texture and resonance, shaded in wood, brass, and batteries, flowering at late hours in dimly lit rooms.
