Incongruous and surreal, viewers could channel-surf between the lysergic hayseed-ism of 'The Porter Wagoner Show,' the pastel psychedelia of 'Those Singin' Swingin' Stompin' Sensational Stonemans' and a multitude of country stars erupting between commercials for beer and laxatives.
