A very limited reissue of the great band and great singer of Calypso from the Bahamas, 'Blind Blake & The Victoria Royal Hotel Calypsos'. For the first time on LP since the 50's (except 5 songs in 1976). Recorded in the 50s but sound like calypso-jazzy-tropical-moderne experience, a trip between Nassau and Havanna, tastes like a cocktail with rum, moonshine and whisky! The Delia Gone song has been covered by Johnny Cash and John B. Sail became the Beach Boys's Sloop John B! A 180 gram vinyl, very high sound quality, silkscreened, with inside...a repro of an original postcard of Blind Blake & his band playing at the Royal Victoria Hotel. Order fast!!
