This new material has moved Adrift further into the world of the psychedelic and the progressive, marking a new milestone on this remarkable bands musical journey: songs nearly 10 minutes long, instrumental passages and endless fleeting moments. Perhaps more organic and musical than the previous efforts, without losing their devastating punch, this album matches the loose extemporaneity and crunchy dynamism of the bands live sets with sophisticated arrangements and deft musicianship.
