GATEFOLD. The TRASHMONKEYS have, in the two years since "The Maker" developed immensely. The songs and the sound reached new levels, without losing the power of the 60s. Offer Stock has turned out to be a master of all trades changing between organ, piano, synthesizer and guitar. This takes some weight off Andreas shoulders giving him more space to exercise his melodic skills. Apart from all this on one song there are real violins to be heard.

ASPIRADORAS, LAS - AUTODESTRUCCION

ASPIRADORAS, LAS - AUTODESTRUCCION

A great single by Spanish garagepunk-sensations LAS ASPIRADORAS. As soon as you see the cover design displaying a merseyboot and fuzz pedal, you can pretty much guess what's inside. The band from Toledo has changed its line-up more than once, but at always remains faithful ... read more »

ELECTRIC MESS - THE BEAST IS YOU

ELECTRIC MESS - THE BEAST IS YOU

'The Beast Is You' by New York's Electric Mess is upon us! This album is loud, wild and completely electrifying. The record absolutely catches the band's powerful mixture of '60s rock, punkrock and '80s garage-revival with incredibly cool vocals by tough frontwoman Esther ... read more »

KAY, BEE DEE -& THE ROLLER COASTER- - LOWDOWN AND DIRTY

The band developed their sound, while they were still mixing up all the interesting music styles of the late 50s and early 60s, like Garage, Surf, R'N'B, Soul, R'N'R as well as Punk-Rock and a bouncing lace of exotic things, without being servile to any rules. This and also ... read more »
