ORIGINAL STAX COPIES! Although released in 1988, this LP caontains excellent live recordings from 1972 and 1973. The eight tracks, recorded during shows at the venues Whisky-A-Go-Go and The Summit in LA, include some of the Dramatics' most popular songs from their highly rated eary period, f.i. 'Get Up And Get Down', 'Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get' and 'In The Rain' from their debut album, and the beautiful hit single 'Toast To The Fool' from their 'Dramatically Yours' LP. Backed by a powerful live band, this LP captures Ron Banks and co. (on this album with two slightly different line ups) performing in top shape, and at the top of their career.
