Kaven Elin fuses Sami folk music with various folk, pop and world music. The style and form from her first album 'Jiknon Musihkka/Frozen Music' are maintained, but as Elin expresses, on the new album the ice is melting and what is under is exposed. "This album exposes my Sami background from a new side where the traditional and mythical elements are mixed with modern influences. This album reveals my inner life as a Sami girl in the City. The roots and longing for nature are present, but at the same time I am drawn towards urban society."
