Larry Williams embodies the prototype of the rock'n'roll loser. His first singles at Specialty were real big hits that would become cornerstones of the genre and of the record company itself. Unlike Little Richard, Larry never really got the success he deserved, and his latest singles at the company failed to ring the bell, despite enclosing great songs like The Dummy, Peaches & Cream or the superb Bad Boy.
