If I say Kerrin Pantelakis sings like a Siren, are you gonna think its just rock-crit speak for "Shes got a pretty voice"? Because thats not quite it. Get out your Edith Hamiltons. Im saying her soaring, searing vocal charms lure sailors gladly to their doom; her tempestuous moans splinter ships against the rocks. Yes, its pretty, but its also obsidian and opiate, and not just on the wailing bridges and choruses. Even in calmer moments, her voice is just a little bit terrifying - whether its solo, or with Meddlesome Meddlesome Meddlesome Bells, or her latest outfit, Haggard.
