Louisiana-based singer Camille "Lil" Bob was one of the
late 1960s' most successful R&B stars in southern Louisiana. His recordings for Goldband, La Louisianne and ANLA are the
highest quality soul and funk. These '69 sides have caused a storm on discerning dancefloors. 'Stop' is an incendiary cover of the Howard Tate number, whilst the flip is a 100 miles-per-hour slice of bad-to-the-bone funk.
