Originally released in 1978 on Brazilian label Som Livre, now reissued on vinyl. This album is rich in layered percussion, horns and guitars. Singer Eloah's lead vocals are reminiscent of the likes of Ellen McIlwaine (Fear Itself), Elza Soares and Joyce. Muisically this is a wonderful blend of samba, funk, folk, jazz and MPB over ijexa and African grooves. The title refers to one of the manifestations of the supreme God in the Yoruba faith.

Also available: OS ORIXAS (CD).
