Manu Dibango's 1976 album returns to vinyl! The six lengthy tracks reveal a variety of styles, including driving afro jazz ('Big Blow'), soundtrack-laced xylo jazz smoothness ('Dakar Streets'), groove laden Afrofunk ('Akoko Party'), smooth progressive Afro jazz ('Bayam Sell'am') and pensive, sax-driven, slow-groove reggae ('Baobab Sun 7'). And the album finishes off with the Afrobeat grooves, punchy organ and layered guitars of the title track.
