Steve Hitchcock (currently known as Ferrara Brain Pan) began experimenting with music and art as a student in early 1977 at San Diego university, where he published five issues of a Neo-Dada art zine called 'Cabaret Voltaire'. In those days he corresponded with Genesis P-Orridge and Cosey Fanni Tutti of COUM Transmissions and Throbbing Gristle, which is how he became involved with early industrial music. He created the experimental solo recordings on this LP in 1979, using shortwave radio, a tv set, a turntable, metal percussion and found sounds. The tracks can be classified as early industrial music with elements of humor that might evoke comparisons to H.N.A.S. or Nurse With Wound.
