La Tène is a three-headed beast emanating a single energy. If one detects the resonance of traditional music, saturated repetition, ethereal harmonics or an imagined dance, it is because they coexist in the music of La Tène as a unified
framework liberated from its roots. The French-Swiss trio produces a music wherein each influence, however profound,
is distilled into patterns-become-themes. There are no points of departure, no arrival lines, no standard verse structures - these fall away as soon as the body receives the first shocks. There are obstacles erected as monuments, familiar unknowns, bits and pieces heard elsewhere, multiple angles, and as many repeated gestures. The LP is released hand in hand with Three : Four Records.
