Live in Copenhagen, March 5, 1958. - Brubeck and Desmond played with several musicians over the years, and the line-up of Brubeck-Desmond-Wright-Morello would become the most famous of Brubeck's bands. This quartet had been together for about
a year when the State Department hired them for a "goodwill" tour of Europe in 1958. They made the trip across the Atlantic and performed across two continents, stunning audiences in England, Germany, Scotland, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq.
