Primitive Race began as an industrial collective with rotating members. With the sophomore album 'Soul Pretender' the project takes a compelling new alternative rock direction. Founder Chris Kniker opts for a static line-up featuring vocalist Chuck Mosley (Faith No More) and drummer Dale Crover (Melvins), rounded out by group veterans Mark Gemini Thwaite (Peter Murphy, Tricky, MGT) and Erie Loch (Blownload, Wiccid).
