When the great bassist and composer Charles Mingus recorded
these sessions for the Candid label in 1960 he was arguably at
the peak of his carreer. Featuring an all star formation
comprising Eric Dolphy, Charles McPherson, Booker Ervin,and
Jimmy Knepper among others, the legendary 'Candid Sessions' are
now available for the first time on AUDIOPHILE CLEAR VINYL,
spread over two separate LP's.
