Ferdi Tayfur is one of the well-known figures in the world of arabesque in Turkey. Arabesque is a musical genre like the laiko of the Greek people which combines folk and middle eastern elements with usually a western harmonization. In those days Tayfur was making collaborations with eclectic musical geniuses such as Özer Senay and Mustafa Sayan. The experiments were at their peak on this 1985 album. You can even hear upbeat drum beats accompanied by the signature grieving singing of Ferdi Tayfur!
