Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity scored a top 5 hit on the 1968 UK Singles Chart with their cover of the Bob Dylan-penned 'This Wheel's On Fire'. Their first album, 'Open', was released in 1967 on Marmalade Records but they didn't attract attention until the release of their single, 'This Wheel's On Fire,' in the spring of 1968, which preceded the appearance of the song on the Band's 'Music From Big Pink' album. They recorded several sessions for British radio and European television which comprise this album. Besides featuring a unique live in the studio version of their hit, this album also includes a rare live version of Lennon and McCartney's psych classic 'A Day In The Life'.
