Originally released in 1971, the sophomore album by the US country-rockers is now available on the CD-format. The songs feature great vocal harmonies, rock instruments and plenty of fiddle and banjo. Swampwater is also known as Linda Ronstadt's late-'60s/early '70s backing band. Cajun fiddler Gib Guilbeau and John Beland would later join The Flying Burrito Brothers.
