Originally released in 1963, Sandy Bull's first album is a truly magnificent debut. Blending Eastern, gospel, folk, and blues styles, it was years ahead of their time. The album is mainly him solo, backed only by jazz drummer Billy Higgins. Bull performs the gospel classic 'Little Maggie' superbly on banjo, and his electric guitar proves excellent as well on 'Gospel Tune'.
