With 'Silhouettes', the krautrock quintet from Aschaffenburg delivers a timeless rock epic. The distinctive singing, sometimes dreamy, sometimes full of energy, is accompanied by a magical mixture between 1970s uptempo-hardrock and progressive-psychedelic elements. Connoisseurs of the dramatically-mystic backing vocals that once made Uriah Heep and Deep Purple unforgettable had to wait for a long time until a 'modern' band dared to play with such kinds of arrangements again. Clearly a step up from their convincing debut, 'Path Of Virtue'. In an authentic and courageous way, Vvlva reinforce the fact that the intense spirit of organ driven hard rock can still bear ripe fruit 50 years after Woodstock. Limited to 300 copies on red/blue marbled vinyl including poster.
