The Tamba Trio was a musical group formed in Rio de Janeiro in the 1960s. Originally formed by Luiz Eca (piano, vocals and arrangements), Bebeto Castilho (double bass, flute, sax and vocals) and Helcio Milito (drums, percussion and vocals). The Tamba Trio began accompaning singer Maysa and later Leny Andradein, performing alongside Luiz Carlos Vinhas (piano) and Roberto Menescal (guitar). From 1967, the line-up changed, with the entry of bassist Dorio Ferreira, and pianist Laercio de Freitas replacing Luiz Eca. The band disbanded in 1970. This reissue has a bonus track.
