Now grown out of the bedroom and operating as a fully functional band, London-based (via Ukraine) Powerplant follows up 2019's 'People Of The Sun' LP with this five-track banger. The comparisons to a.o. Devo, Screamers and Lost Sounds still make sense, but the weird tracks are weirder and the fast tunes are faster! The EP is presented with a reverse side cardboard sleeve and a lyric sheet.

CAREER SUICIDE - MACHINE RESPONSE

'Machine Response' veers in and out of pure speed, bursts of melody and chunky tempo shifts, indenting the long standing influence of early '80s USHC, late '70s punk and a peppering of '60s swagger, with a clearly developed personal style.
