The first proper solo album from producer/singer/songwriter Mike Post, also lead singer of the band Young Creatures. 'The Crunch' was recorded over 8 years and in 4 different studios, including his own studio MooseCat Recording in Los Angeles, Abbey Road Studios in London, Loho Studios in New York and Red Rockets Glare in LA and Portland. A departure from his other projects, Post's solo effort draws from more traditional folk influences, while still delivering a range of styles including indie folk, rock, and pop. Post contemplates themes of time, loss, and love, and is sure to pull on your mind and heart strings.
