Reissued on CD is the 1986 album by the band formed by multi instrumentalist John Rees Lewis, after his departure from Medium Medium. C Cat Trance incorporated ethnic music into the compositions before world music became a popular genre. The band's influences came mainly from Northern Africa and the Middle East. A lot of people have played with the band, creating a unique mixture of pop, new wave, club and world music. 'Zouave' was the band's third album.
