Wolfen is the brainchild of multi instrumentalist Shane Horgan and also features Jonathan Parkes and Alec Wood from kosmische rockers Korb and Arboria, and also the creators of Dreamlord Recordings. The trio come together beautifully to create stunning atmospheric shoegaze soundscapes, and combined with Shane's sometimes rasping sometimes delicate lysergic vocals Wolfen take you on a psychedelic interstellar journey like never before as 'The Mission' unfolds. The album moves through an earthly garage rawness of sound and emotion to an almost ecstatic psych-tinged state of bliss. On the surface the songs are based on a journey through space, but underlying that are universal themes of love, loss, family, and war.
