RSD 2022 release. Fully licensed reissue of this Japanese exotic and erotic dream pop album from 1971. Flower Meg was a sexy dream pop icon of '70s Japan fascinating the whole East first in late night television broadcasts, then as a model, actress and muse of Kaneto Shindo, and singer. The name Flower Meg means Flower of Meguro (the Tokyo district she came from). She began by acting in the theater and with dance; then, still very young, in 1970 she made her appearance in the Go-Go Club show 'Space Capsule' where she captured the attention of a well-known director who hired her as cover girl of the night television program '23 O'Clock Show.' At the age of 19 she made, for Dan, a branch of the historic Tokuma, the album 'Sighs, Whispers And Anguish,' today a holy grail for collectors. A collection of classic 'lollipos' and à la page songs of the era interpreted with a crazy sexy whisper, accompanied by the Dan Pop's Orchestra. Includes obi and insert.
