History has proven that the recording industry allows more than one artist or band with the same name, and the least successful isn't always the less talented. Take the case of British Nirvana and American psychedelic band Genesis, or even the jazz projects like the Americans Air and Marc Moulin's Placebo from Belgium. The coincidence in the name Hazel Scott with the popular Trinidadian pianist from the New York jazz clubs scene did not bring any disadvantages to this English singer who traveled the world spreading her love for the music of Brazil.
