Kainkäärmeenpoika's same-titled album, which was not released back in 1984, is an exceptional case in the history of Finnish pop culture. It was the first - and only in decades - attempt to openly launch a queer art career and direct it to queer awareness. When the record company heard the final release, it was immediately shelved. Svart Records will finally release this album on vinyl, on a limited run of 350 copies on black vinyl.
