Svart Records releases the result of Ismo Alango, Kimmo Pohjonen and sound designer Tuomas Norvio's collective shamanistic-electronic improvisation. The debut album of the band called Pohjonen Alanko is a 20-minute journey to the atavistic layers of the subconscious on the one hand, and towards postmodern electronic ecstasy on the other, entitled 'Northern Lowland'. The band's strongly visual sound image consists of sounds, melodies and rhythms created in a free emotional state. Different sounds produced by the human body, hypnotic hokemas and lyrical melodies meet modern technology and erupt as satanic rituals, rough dance music or even hymns. From time to time, this sonic landscape is also colored by traditional instruments, such as punk inspired electric guitar.
