'Just Because You Wander In The Desert, It Does Not Mean There Is A Promised Land' is the name of the avant-garde, fingerpicking project by Italian artist Alessandro Denti. Drawing on artists like John Fahey, Henry Flynt, Jack Rose and co, Waswas has also tastefully utilised field recordings, loops, slide and reverbed electric guitar to great effect. The result is a sonically diverse and gorgeous pastoral folk album.
