Sweet Cheater was formed in Bremen in 1983, influenced by Metal Church, Metallica, Helstar and Fates Warning. After a demo they got a record deal and recorded the debut album 'Immortal Instant'. The result was met with acclaim, which was already something special for a German band not dedicated to thrash in 1986.
