After a quarter of a century, one of the most important dark progressive Italian bands ever, is back creating nightmares and does it going back to the particular era when the original band was splitting up. Their third album was already entirely written but the project was shelved. Until now. Today those compositions come back to life as they have been completely recorded using the original lead track of the old pre-production. The result is Malombra at its best. The album showcases the usual visionary spirit and dark atmospheres. With moments full of tension followed by furious uptempos yet solemn parts. In addition to all that the band now can deliver a full powerful and dark sound that they couldn't achieve at the time. 'T.R.E.S.' is a homage to traditional Italian progressive rock together with a tribute to a certain mystery narrative. A record for all the enemies of the obvious.
