The Sensation Seekers return! After their highly acclaimed 'Jerk Beat' LP of 2018 (5 star in Shindig Magazine), and the phenomenal 'Monkey Paws' 45 from 2019, the combo reawaken from hibernation with a soul/freak-beat EP exclusively for Spinout Nuggets. The four-track EP features three originals of the European library, Hammond and instro beat guitar idiom. Lead track, 'It's Clapping Time' is a guaranteed floor filler with an infectious beat and killer Steve Cropperesque spikey guitar chops. '(All Aboard) The Gravy Train' is a slower Hammond grind with added harmonica break. 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' is another highly danceable Memphis '67 style groove. A tip-top cover of Booker T. & the MG's 'Be My Lady' closes the EP in fine form. This foursome make the perfect 45 for dance floor beat and mod enthusiasts alike. Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.
