Avions made their comeback in 2020 with '5 For Nacho,' three years after the album 'Loner.' Today, the trio signs its return with an album on Howlin' Banana. Despite the distance (the members are based in Paris and Lyon) and two years of Covid which have only strengthened their ties around music, they record this new album in the privacy of their premises, with the help of a long-time friend, Lucien Jorge. Gone are the nods to the pop-punk heroes of their adolescence Their eponymous album deploys eleven tracks nourished by the indie rock of Teenage Fanclub and Guided by Voices, and the frenetic power pop of the Marked Men.
