Ishaaq is combining his geographical origins in Tamil Nadu and Norrköping into music. He mixes Indian tones from various traditions with Western folk and popular music. On 'Andra' the Indian heritage has been deepened; raga-based compositions, tabla and strings take up more space than before. Just like on the 2021 debut 'Best Of Klasson,' Jari Haapalainen has produced, and Swedish and Indian musicians such as Daniel Bingert and Suranjana Ghosh make the music both swinging and difficult to categorize. Comes on plant-based non-plastic vinyl. This means it looks weird, like it is damaged, with scratches and discoloration, but it is normal and plays great.
