Debut album by Jenni Venäläinen. Here, electronic beats fit perfectly with the maanitus, melkutus and ripatska melodies originally come from the early 20th century and played in many Finnish villages and at festivals. Jenni mostly plays on a 19-string kantele, as well as providing vocals. The album was recorded by Jenni Venäläinen and her co-composer, arranger and producer Antti Elias Huuskonen.
