Windy Corner

The House At Windy Corner

Formed in Amsterdam in the late '60s, Windy Corner was a psychedelic folk-rock band that rarely played live. Using self-made instruments and amplifiers, they recorded long sessions at their rehearsal cottage. In 1973 the band released the album 'The House At Windy Corner' in an edition of only 100 copies through the collectable UK custom imprint Deroy (also known from the releases of UK cult group Complex). The music is hippie psych-folk with progressive leanings, dreamy vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, organ, and a rhythm section. Fans of lo-fi psych and psych-folk (somewhere between, say, A>Austr and Ithaca) should definitely check out this fine reissue that comes with remastered sound, reproduced artwork and an insert offering info and pix.
